Hello Doctors, I Got Right Ear Fungal Infection, My 1st

Hello Doctors,

I got right ear fungal infection, my 1st ENT doc prescriped a miconazole cream and told me to wipe the wall canal together with ofloxacin ear drops, however after 1 week and review with him, found there is some residual fungal which is located near my ear drum. He asked to continue the use the cream and claimed that antifungal ear drops is not as effective as cream. Then, i went to meet 2nd ENT specialist for 2nd opinion, where his approach is opposite, he prescribed me a clotrimazole ear drops and told me to stop using the cream. i am confused...Which one better? I wish to hear anyone of you. Thanks

Regards
Darren
