Heavy Periods, Severe Pain, Hand Cramps, Tongue Numbness, Slurred Speech. Treatment?

Hi. My daughter who is 22 has a bad period with severe pain. This morning she woke with the pain and apron going to the bathroom had to lay down. Her hands started to cramp and the tip of her toungue went numb also her speech slurred. After pain killers and 10 mins she felt fine. Very concerned about the hands and toungue as this has not happened before
