Heavy Bleeding During Periods, Blood Clots, Waist Pain. Hysterosonogram Shows Uterine Polyps. Treatment?

I just had a hysterosonogram and they found 2 large polyps in my uteru s. I am still waiting for my family doctor to call me back , but at the meantime I am getting my period with heavy bleeding and clots. Sometimes I feel sudden pain on my waist and back. Is this pain come because of the polyps? or is it something different? I hope it is not my kidney .

Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
There are many causes of backache like
-Pelvic inflammatory disease,
-postural pain like due to lordosis,
-uterine prolapse,
-disc prolapse.
Polyp can be cause of pain & you are having bleeding also.So consult your gynaecologist & go for polypectomy.
Take care.
