Heaviness In Head, Partial Headache After Drinking Cold. BP Constant. Allergy?

I have checked my BP and the Diastolic is constant at 104 and am having a feeling of heaviness/stufiness in the head. I am thinking that I have some sort of an allergy as earlier and even now I get a partial headache as soon as I am in front of a cold source or drink anything cold.

Any opinions whether the high BP is beacuse of allergies??

Hi,

Your symptoms are related to high BP, which has been shown after measuring it. In fact, your diastolic is very high, therefore, I would recommend to take some medicine.

Usually, 1 tb of nifedipine sub-lingual is used to lower BP; however, you need to show your systolic.

Once your BP is back to normal again, you won't have such problems. I strongly recommend to talk to a cardiologist to begin high BP treatment.

Meanwhile, you can measure your BP for an entire week and pass the results to your doctor. You can measure your blood sugar too and perform a lipid profile test.

There are some other symptoms related to allergy, which do not match your current symptoms. In fact, they talk about high BP, which needs immediate treatment.

Hope it helped!
