Heaviness, Dizziness And Mild Pain In Chest. Diagnosed With Anxiety Disorder. Suggestions?

hello Sir,
For the last three months I am feeling heaviness and mild pain in my chest. I am feeling dizzy and simetimes I feel like i am going to pass out and totally lose control over myself. I feel like something really bad going to happen with me.I went to ER and cardiologist had Ecg twice and TMT, ECHO once. Everything was normal. Doctor said it was anxiety disorder. I am 28 years old man & non smoker but I have some anxiety issues. Please tell me can all these be the cause of Anxiety or I might have some heart disease?

Hi,
Thanks forr using healthcare magi c.

I have gone through your history.
All your symptoms can be explained with diagnosis of panic disorder-an anxiety disorder.
But physical causes like thyroid dysfunction or cardiac causes has to be ruled out.

You should consult psychiatrist for detailed evaluation and management. Doctor may advise you to start anti depressant drugs like peroxetine or anti anxiety agents like clonazepam or lorazepam.

You may also get bbenefit by doing stress management and breathing exercise with yoga.

Avoid caffeine or nicotine in excess.
