i am 21, 6'1 just under 18 stone
i had strong heartburn yesterday which was followed by a tight chest for a few hours, i took gaviscon for the heartburn and it was dealt with almost immediately i then rode a couple of miles home and while i was riding i felt completely normal again but today i am feeling not quite myself, i could say feeling a bit weak, it has improved over the course of the day but i wanted to get an opinion on the matter, i cant get to my GP so is it worth a trip to the hospital,

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

It is OK to take gaviscon...it gives symptomatic relief in such cases.
But you need correct diagnosis for appropriate treatment -
You need to be examined / have some basic blood tests, and ECG too!
If they are OK, go for endoscopy - hiatus hernia / peptic ulcer have to be evaluated...

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
