Heart valves replaced. Decreased urination, urea level increased. How to reduce and control?
hello doctor, my mom is a heart patient had her valves replaced last year.bt stil one of the valves is leaking. another thing that she has problem of decreased urine output sometimes. now she is taking 1000ml fluid as input and releasing 750 -800 ml urine. bt her urea level is increased from 50 to 88 in last 10 days..how to reduce and control that. regards sahil.
high urea levels are most likely due to deranged renal (kidney) function....
i would suggest to get her examined by a nephrologist as soon as possible so as to get her water n electrolytes level evaluated..
