Heart rate 55-57 at the age of 20. Is it OK?

My heart rate was around 55-57 the other day. Is that normal for a 20 year old weighing 185. I do go to the gym but that seems low.

It's fine if you exercise. You're young, assuming healthy. What has it run in the past? If it's dropped significantly from what you used to run, I'd see a doc. Otherwise I'd say you're in tip top shape:).

I am a 24 and a half year old white female with 3 children ages 4 and under. My heart rate is normally on the higher side when I am pregnant and that s pretty much the only time I ever check it. But I ve been checking it a lot the past few days and every time it s been between 101-109bpm. Even after just waking up after sleeping. Sometimes I do feel like my heart is racing. Is this something I should get checked out by a doctor?

I'm a 26 year old man who is admittedly out of shape. For about the past 24 hours I have been feeling discomfort in my heart, about the time I had an argument with a spouse. We have since resolved the issue, but I still feel the discomfort in my heart. Using a stethoscope I have I recorded my heart rate at 78 beats per minute, but it seems to speed up and slow down inconsistently. I take no medication. I'd like o figure out what this is and how to fix it.
