Heart racing, loud heart beats on waking up from a dream. Due to anxiety?

I woke up from a deep dream with my heart racing and could hear it in my ears. Can t quit remember my dream. Think I remember running. This has never happened before. I had just had an echo and exercise stress test done a week ago for an up coming surgery. This probably i guess was anxiety induced seeing as my tests were good. YYYY@YYYY

Hi friend
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Normal ECHO and stress test are reassuring.
But for assessment of heart beats, you also have to do Holter (24 to 48 hours ambulatory monitoring of heart beats)
Your inference could be right. But it is better to have the test done, to be sure.

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
