Heart Palpitations, Pins And Needles In Arm, Blindness In Eyes. History Of Fainting Episodes. Normal Eye Test

I have started to get heart palpitations, pins and needles in my left arm and leg and a stint of blindness in my left eyes for around 30 minutes. I am a 23 year old female, I've played various sports all my life I'm 5"4 and BMI is 20 I'm averages weight which varies around 2 to 3 pound. I have have a few fainting episodes growing up but when I was 21 I went and had a variety of heart monitoring tests as well as brain tests but I came back with everything as normal. I've also recently been for an eye test and they said my eyes were fine. What could be wrong with me?.

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

HOLTER (24 to 48 hour ambulatory monitoring) or event monitor is necessary to analyse and plan for further management…      If there are no clues and if the arrhythmia is bothering to the extent of interfering with life style, one may need Electro Physiological Studies (EPS) > it resembles angio – a catheter is put inside the heart / electrical activity recorded / stimulation and suppression tests are carried out / suitable medicine tested and so on. Though the test is the gold standard, it is INVASIVE and is not generally done unless there are compelling indications. This super-speciality expert is called ELECTRO-PHYSIOLOGIST.
You may also need further work up by a neurologist. EEG and MRI may be needed. MRA (MRI angiography) shows blood vessels and is generally done at the same sitting.

The treating doctor may suggest them depending on need, based on his assessment of the situation.

Take care
Wishing all well
God bless
Good luck
