Heart Attack, Have Artery Blockage, Weight Loss. Have Two Stents. Taking Meloxicam. What Can Be Done?
1 week ago I had my first heart attack resulting in 2 stints being put into it. LAD as listed on the card. I also have 1 artery with 100% blockage that he left alone. Going from 0 to 5 medicines scares me more because of side effects, since I believe that starting Meloxicam 2 months ago may have help cause the attack in the first place. I'm reading about the effects of Krill oil and how it helps Blood pressure, Sugar levels and weight loss. Would this be safe to take with my current medication in hopes of eventually eliminating pharmacutical meds in the future?
It would be ok for you to use the oil with your other medications, but I strongly recommend not discontinuing any of your other medications unless told by your doctor; most likely, in a year or so, one of the blood thinners you are on could be discontinued but the other medications actually help your heart heal AND KEEP IT THAT WAY; trust me, 30 years ago our parents wished they had medications that worked so well.
Yours truly,
