Hearing Loss/muffled And Numbness And Occasional Headaches

I am a female. 23 years old. I am wondering if any of this is related...on and off for about a year I have had very slight hearing loss , more so muffle and numbness feeling than anything. but only in my right ear. It comes and goes monthly. right now, for about two weeks is the longest I have had this. Occasionally when i get the muffled hearing, i get horrible headaches on the left side of my head (usually at night) and mostly while laying down...and there have been times within the past few weeks where I was laying down and it seemed as if the room was spinning, that happened three times..could this all be related somehow?

Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

This can be secondary to fluid in the middle ear. It is called secretory otitis media. You require a thorough examination by an apt ENT specialist. Till then, try doing steam inhalation 2-3 times/day and drink plenty of warm water.

ENT Specialist Dr. Puneet Maheshwari's  Response
Have u any history of ear discharhe, if yes then u might be suffering from complicated CSOM. but if there is no history of ear discharge, then u might be suffering from a disease cd Meniers disease.

Both these r serious conditions. Do consult an ENT surgeon soon for further management.
