Headache, facial pain, no vision change, no numbness. Stroke?

I had a stroke on March 2nd, they also thought I had vasculitis & now they think I may have moyamoya disease .. but everything is in the investigatvie stages right now. I have been waking up with headaches for the past week or so and this morning I woke up with a headache along with a sharp shooting pain front the bridge of my nose up across my eyebrow on the right side. I was just wondering if this could be another symptom of a stroke.... There are no other symptons (no vision changes, or numbness)

Thanks for writing in.
It is unlikely that the headache that you have described is attributable to stroke. Headache usually occurs in the haemorrhagic variety of stroke ( where there is a bleed in the brain). This headache is severe, sudden in onset and usually occurs just before the patient loses consciousness.
As far as the origin of headache in your case is concerned, it could be related to the vasculitis, sinusitis or simply anxiety.
I would suggest that you see your physician and get a condition called temporal arteritis which can cause a similar picture and causes thickened vessels to appear in the temples.
Till then, you can try taking steam inhalation and see if it relieves the pain. If it does, it is likely that it is sinusitis.
If both these entities are ruled out, I would need you to simply relax and stop worrying about everything.
Hope this helps.
