Hello.
How bad is your headache and which part of the head did you hit?
Has there been any episode of vomiting or drowsiness or nasal/ ear bleed so far?
Well you cannot specify pain near medulla oblongata . You can rather specify the haedache as occipital or back of head pain.
Because of headache and heaviness it is advisable to get a CT Scan brain ( plain) done .
Meanwhile if there is any swelling at the site of impact you can apply ice packs as well.
