Head Injury Due To Road Accident. Prescribed Eptoin, Dizziness, Drowsiness. Cause Of Concern?

i had gone through a road accident and had a head injury before 1 & a 1/2 month. my doc has advised me to take eptoin 300er once at night for 1 year. after starting taking eptoin 300er for 1 month, i felt some giddiness or dizziness and also drowziness all the time which i didnt felt ever during the first month. i am feeling very uneasy due to this problem and very much afraid. please help me. i would be heartly thankful to u.

Thank you for the query.

If your head injury has caused lost of consciousness, the only thing that should be done in that time was head CT and hospital 24 hours observation. There is no need to take Eptoin after head trauma and I cannot find any explanation for this medicine other than epilepsy. Such can happen after the trauma but you havent mention about something like that so I assume you do not suffer from epilepsy.
I suggest you to visit neurologist and ask him about this medicine as it sounds not necessary.
