Head injury. Pain, swelling, pressure near ears. Help

Hello Doctor I hit my head rather hard against a wooden pane last week
There was some pain & swelling for a day , but they subsided after that.

But for the last few days, I experience some kind of pressure near the ears / rear head once in a while, especially after having food or so. There isn't any pain as such. There seems to be very minor imbalance for a second or so.

Kindly advise

Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, it seems that the symptoms you are having is due to concussion injury as a result of the impact on the head.

Still you should get a scan of your head done to rule out any internal injury.

It usually takes few days to weeks for complete recovery.
Complete rest will speed up the recovery. Avoid watching television/computers and text messaging till complete recovery.

If the symptoms persists, get yourself examined clinically.

I hope this is helpful to you.
