Head Hurt, Given Paracetamol And Bruise Cream. Noticed Dent In Her Forehead. It Would Be Permanent?
Hi
Yesterday my 19 month old daughter got on my bed and was jumping and dived from the bottom of the bed to the top and hit her head on the metal bars.... She didn't seem too phased by it... Cried a little and I gave her paracetamol and tried to put ice on it though she hates that so I didn't want to upset her too much and put bruise cream on it. The problem is that she now has a dent in her forehead. When she raises her eyebrows it's very noticable. It's not bruising black and blue or anything which I find strange... She's fine now, as if it didn't happen but I'm worried about this dent. Do you think it would be permanent?

Hi and welcome to HCM Once the swelling reduces and healing of soft tissue occurs, it will disappear. Do not worry to much. Continue icing and give her antiinflammatory drug to reduce pain and inflammation. If it persist get it evaluated. Hope this will helps you. Take care.
