Head And Chest Hurt While Coughing. Abdominal, Neck And Middle Of Spinal Cord Hurting. Is It UTI ?

Hi Doc, I was wondering if you could help me with this little issue I have been having. About 5 days ago I slept and it was very cold. The next morning I started feeling bad. For the past 5 days I have been coughing non stop. Whenever i cough the back of my head hurts, and chest hurts whenever I cough. My eyes have been hurting as well, but not as much as it used to. The worse part is whenever I cough my abdominal hurts bad. I have also not really been able to use the restroom I would only urinate. My back has been hurting as well. It has been hurting around my neck and in the middle of my spinal cord. I went to the doctors yesterday and they said that It was probably caused by my asthma. They gave me medication, but I don't really think its helping me very much. When I am asleep I tend to cough which wakes me up. I was researching for all these symptoms and I was worried that it might be a UTI. This is the longest I have ever been sick in my life and that is why I am so worried. I hope you can help me with my issue. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Pulmonologist 's  Response
hi welcome to HCM
i have gone through your query and concerned about your problems
as you are saying your cough is of short duration(less than 2weeks) it could be of various reasons such as acute bronchitis ,upper respiratory infection or an cough variant of asthma
i would like to know if you have any fever and sputum production associated with cough it might be aacute bronchits or pneumonia
if you had a family H/O asthma and H/O of recuurnt colds ,allergy it could be an asthma
or it could be aviral infectiona ssociated with cough
as you are saying it is not being relieved after taking medications i would like you to visit a pulmonologist or a physician so that he can clearly point out diagnosis
