Having weird upset stomach on and off. What to do?

For the past week or so, I have been having this weird upset stomach on and off. I haven t had any abnormal stool, diarrhea or vomiting .I haven t had any of that. I ll have moments where I feel like I m starving but i know I just ate. And when I do eat to ease the pain and stop being hungry, I get a massive stomach ache. Something similar has happened a few months ago when I was on birth control . I would have terrible stomach aches and loss of appetite , but the only way to fix it was eating. I went off of the birth control to see if that was the cause, it was (or at least it looked like it). But now, the pain is back... This time, eating doesn t help. Could this be something I need to pay attention to?
