Having Tonsil Stone, Small Clump Of Skin Above Tonsil. What Could This Be?

So today as I decided to pick off a tonsil stone that happened to be accessible, I came across a rather peculiar thing that I am uncertain of. Right above the tonsil (so I assume it would be) there seems to be a small clump of skin that is hanging by a small piece of skin. Weeks before I remember it being attached to the inner lining of the mouth (symmetrical with the other side) so now I feel a bit concerned; I can sort of feel it in the back of my mouth.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe it appears to be the uvula, a natural projection from the soft palate. The other causes could be the adenoids, polyps, or some thing of that sort, can't be diagnosed on line.
So i advise you to consult an E.N.T. surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
If it is uvula or its swelling may be controlled with medicines, if it is very large, may need surgery.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
