Having Severe Lower Backache, Migraine, Tiredness, Strong Smell In Urine. Kidney Infection?
Hi my name is Kaela. I m having severe lower back pain , migraines, and I m constantly tired. I am also a day late on my period. However I can t tell if I have a kidney infection or if its my period. For the past couple days I had pain all across my lower back. This morning it was predominately on my left side and now it s spread out again. Do you think this could be a kidney infection and should I go in? I also noticed today that my urine smelt strong and it was cloudy. I have been drinking a lot of water the past 3 days.

Thanks for the query.
If you have a cloudy foul smelling urine it could well be an infection.
It's best to obtain urine analysis and culture to confirm the diagnosis and see a physician who will guide the appropriate therapy.
If the back pain persists an ultrasound may help.

Dear patient,
Don't get panic. Here is the solution from ayurveda!
Firstly any trauma to back?/any strong white discharge before periods?/burning sensation during urination?/clots during periods?etc.Any investigations like urine culture,E S R, abdominal ultra-sonography,any hormonal test ever before done.If no, then do the necessary tests (adv by your physician).
If these results are -ve then the treatment is
1)dicocction coriander seeds +turmeric +cumin seeds with cow's ghee in morning,before lunch,after dinner is very effective to abdominal pains + headache.
2)be relaxed!don't take mental pressure.
3)praval panchamrut/arogyvardhini rasa/varunadi quath/sahnkaha bhasm+honey are equally important.
4)application of hing (asafoetida) arround umbilicus is very effective at this stage.
5)drink warm water whole day as it clears the basti (bladder) & urinary track.
