Having Pain From Buttox To Knee, Calf And Ankle. Is This The Sciatic Nerve?
I have a pain that starts like in the middle of the buttox and it goes down to the crease where your knee bends and at night when im trying to sleep it goes around the calf and in front of the leg to the ankle. is that the sciatic nerve . i did have lower back pain yesterday. and today it kinda feels like that whole leg was wanting to fall asleep.
It looks like that you are having nerve compression in back and that is causing pain in your whole leg.You have not mentioned since how many days you are having these symptoms. If it is since more then a week then i would recommend you to get MRI of the spine to check if there is nerve compression. If it is present then according to severity you would need treatment. 1. Drugs which are uses -pregabalin and Methylcobalamine 2.Physiotherapy will be needed. 3.If disc herniation is severe and not responding to physio and medicine then we have to think for surgery.
