Having Pain Below Ribs. Diagnosed As Gastritis. What Is Causing This Feeling?

Yes thankyou I have had pain like stitch under both sides of my ribs, I saw a doctor at hospital who told me it was wind and the pressure from the bowel could be causing this. I am not convinced and the pain is now much worse I am 76 years old and it is making my life very miserable would be glad of some advice jean allsopp

I really appreciate your concern looking to the history given here I could say that this is a hyperacidity problem with some functional elements, I would be your doctor then I would treat this case with the following medicines ,
1) Tab Omeprazole 40 mg once in day for three weeks
2) Tab Domeperidone once in day for three weeks
3) Tab Chlordiazepoxide three times in day
avoid spicy food, smoking, alcohol prior to bed, take care and have nice day.
