January 2014 I had my gal batter removed and at the same time I also was diagnosed with pancreatitis. I was on a low fat diet for two month. I soon felt fine. Until recently 11 months after surgery. I have gained a lot of weight (15 lbs) and now I am having pains in my stomach. Like hunger pain...but occur only after I eat. the pain last for hours. .

My name is Michael Brown,I have had chronic pancreatitis since the age of 13 due to duct obstruction. After 33 years of battling the pancreatitis I underwent the Whipple surgery in November of 2014.I had many complications after the surgery.I was leaking digestive fluid into my abdominal area and it ate thru my splenic artery in early December and I almost died but they stopped it in time. There was the tail of my pancreas left after the Whipple and it was left for insulin purposes.Believe it or not I still continue to have pancreatic problems and alot of discomfort and pain.My only options I m told are to remove the remaining pancreas and instantly become full blown diabetic or enter pain management and live with narcotics the rest of my life.I would like to hear the opinion of some doctors as to the options I am faced with.Thank you.

My husband has a uniformed rash on his back. No raised welts or pimples. He says there's no itching or burning but I'm afraid it may have something to do with his pancreatitis which he was diagnosed with 4 years ago. His doctor said he has a neucrotic pancreas.
