Oncologist, Surgical 's  Response
Any discharge from the nipple needs to be investigated to rule out an underlying pathology, particularly at your age. Generally, these are harmless or the underlying pathology is non-cancerous. You need to undergo a bilateral mammogram and a cytology of the nipple discharge. If both of these are normal, then you have nothing to worry about and you can either observe or get the offending duct removed by a minor surgery called microdochectomy. However, if any of these is abnormal, then you need to see an oncologist immediately for further management.
