Herbal Medicine(Unani Medicine): 1.Herbal supplement name: Sinus-I oil PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Sinusitis is an inflammation of the nasal sinuses that accompanies upper respiratory infection. More than 50% of all cases of sinusitis are caused by bacteria. The sinuses affected by this infection include those above the eyes, inside each cheekbone, behind the bridge of the nose and in the upper nose. It may be a complication of an upper respiratory infection, dental infection, allergy, a change in atmosphere, as in air travel or underwater swimming, or a defect of the nose. With swelling of nasal mucus membranes the openings from sinuses to the nose may be blocked, causing pressure, pain, headache, fever, and local tenderness. Complications include spread of infection to bone, brain, or meninges. Symptoms include headache, blocked nose with a greenish infected discharge, a feeling of heaviness and pain inside the head and face and possibly, disturbance of sleep. Depending upon the location of the affected sinus, there may be eye pain and inflammation. Sinus-I Oil clears nasal congestion and is useful in sinusitis. DOSAGE : 2-3 drops are instilled in each nostril. 2.Herbal Supplement: Itrefal Ustukhudus PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Specially useful in chronic catarrh. Regular use prevents premature greying of hair. Also strengthens the brain, stomach and intestines and removes constipation. INDICATIONS : Chronic catarrh, headache, migraine, sneezing, sinusitis, premature greying of hair, cerebral atony, weakness of digestive stomach and constipation. CONTRAINDICATIONS : None SIDE EFFECTS : None DOSAGE : 5 to 10 g at night with lukewarm water. Also available in the form of capsule.
