Having Multi-septated Ovarian Cyst. Experiencing Abdominal Pains. Advised Repetition Of Sonar. Suggestions?

Hi. I am 30 years old and have a right sided multi-septated ovarian cyst with thickened walls. It measures 4, 8cm by 3, 5cm. I started experiencing lower abdominal pain 2 days ago which is relieved by NSAIDs. I have no nausea or vomitting. I had a caesarean section 2 years ago. My doctor wants to repeat the sonar in 3 weeks. What is your input?

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Since there are multiple cyst , you haven't mentioned other symptoms.
If you don't have any problems with these cysts than starts the conservative ( medicinal ) treatment at once.
For this consult your treating Gynaecologist and get his opinion.
Get in blood examination for estrogen, estradiols, F S H / LH ration , androgen level.
Study of atretric follicles with increased ovarian stroma is very important so ultrasound will play an important role.
Good luck.
