Having Migraine, Vertigo And Dizziness. Cyst Found In Transverse Sinus In Brain. Is It Venous Thrombosis?
HELLO!!! I GET LOTS OF MIGRAINES & VERTGO OR DIZZINESS . I GOT AN MRI DONE & IT SHOWED I HAVE A APPARENT 1 CM CYST OR BLOOD CLOG IN THE LEFT TRANSVERSE SINUS IN MY BRAIN. I AM GETTING A MR VENOGRAM SOON. I WAS REFERRED TO A NEUROLOGY BUT APPT GIVEN ME IS A MONTH AWAY FROM NOW. I AM WORRIED BECAUSE THE MRI SAYS THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF VENOUS THROMBUS. WHAT DO THEY MEAN? WHY AM I GETTING AN MR VENOGRAM? AND WHAT SHOULD I DO UNTIL MY APPOINTMENT AT THE END OF MAY???

I really appreciate your concern, this could be either cyst or thrombus, cyst means it may contain anything in it like blood clear fluid, puss, but in case of thrombus this is only collection of blood (Clot) and to differentiae this the angiogram is the way, hope this information helps you have nice day.
