Having Frequent Semi-solid Stools. Prescribed Enterogermina. Stool Test Shows Undigested Particles. Can I Start Econorm?
hi, my 6yr old son has been suffering from frequent potty which is semi-solid to well formed for the last 7 days. doctor advised enterogermina for three days but there is no change. as soon as he starts eating something he runs to potty. stool test showed undigested food particles but no infection. enterogermina ends today with another dose. can i start econorm?

enterogermina or econorm are both types of pro-biotics that are used for gastro-intestinal problems.but both require to be taken for atleast 5-7 days for them to be completly effective.
Children over three months are recommended to take two doses of 250 mg a day (BID) for five days to treat acute diarrhea,digestion problems.
hence i would recommend you to take econorm for a minimum of five days.
also,i would advise your son to
-take lots of fluids
-fiber containing diet
-include green vegetables in diet.
