Having Bad Vaginal Itching. On Birth Control. Had Yeast Infection. Any Ph Issue?

I have had vaginal itching for 4 months now. it started with cream/white vaginal discharge (no odour)and intense itching the day after ovulation and following a week of lots of sexual activity with my husband. I am not only any birth control and have a regular cycle of 35 days and have never had an STI . I was treated for a yeast infection with diflucan (2 pills one week apart) which helped considerably. However a week later it came back. The irritation is always worse after sex (even with condoms ) and wearing a tampon which causes soreness. I have only been able to tolerate pads. The only relief i seem to get from the itching is during my menstrual cycle. I have tried sitz bath with baking soda which only caused severed burning when urinating afterwards. I have been tested for bacterial vaginosis , chlamydia, gonnorhea and trichonomoasis and yeast. All cultures came back negative multiple times. The second doctor i say was convinced it was yeast from the look of the discharge along my vaginal wall and so gave me Flagystaten suppositories (metrodinazole and nystatin) which he said would also help if i had bacterial vaginosis. But it only further aggravated the soreness and irritation. I feel like it is yeast but why are my cultures negative? Could this simply be a ph issue? The last doctor I saw said there were lots of white blood cells but no yeast and all negative cultures. Im worried I have an infection and it is not being picked up which could cause damage and lead to infertility. could the greater number of white blood cells just be due to the inflammation from the irritation? can a yeast infection cause greater number of wbcs? Im very depressed about this, as it is not only painful and irritating but it beginning to very negatively effect my relationship.

Hello,
Vaginal discharge is a normal fluid secretion from the vaginal glands to carry the dead cells and bacteria.
But you have associated itching – so some infection and inflammation should be there in.
The commonest infections are:
Bacterial vaginosis
Chlamydia
Gonorrhea
Diabetes
Trichomoniasis,
Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID)
Yeast infections

As there is no smell and no other associated symptoms , Clamydia (STD) and Bacterial vaginosis can be ruled out to arrive at a possible diagnosis.
Diabetes can be ruled out by blood test
PID – can be ruled out by USG abdomen.
Gonorrhea – need not have any symptoms at all – can be ruled out by vaginal smear
The remaining is Trichomoniasis and Yeast infection
Both these conditions - the initial treatment for 1o to 15 days, then you may have to repeat it every month for 5 days. The boric acid capsule may be of use.
Probiotics can also be taken.
Wearing 100 % cotton loose fitting are advised
For itching – avoid steroid – take antihistamines alone
If you have a UTI – treat it properly
Unnecessary spays to be avoided
After toilet wash from front to back
Take plenty of water

Important points:
You and your partner should take simultaneous treatment.
Strictly - No sex till you get alright

WBC - Count wiil be increased in any vaginal infection
By following the above instruction, Even if the smear reports are negative continue the tab for 6 months as advised.

Best wishes
