Having bad palpitations. ECG normal. Cure and treatment to be done?

Im having really bad palpitations. I also get a very fast heart beat now and again. I can just be sat down relaxing and it will happen or bend down to quickly. Ive had an e.c.g but was normal. Doctors say it is the fast one that causes concern & to go to a&e but it stops by the time I get there. I sometimes feel its taking over life , sometimes I cant go out as arranged as they are bad. Is there anything I can do ? Thankyou

Cardiologist 's  Response
your palpitation problem is on and off
some types of heart rhythm abnormality is paroxysamal and cause palpitation
in that case resting EKG may be normal
you should do 24 hour holter study
also do some basic blood test which evaluate your Hb and thyroid function also
