Having acid reflux, water coming in mouth, blood clot. What to do?

my mom is in the hospital ,she said all night last night water kept coming up in her mouth. we already know she has acid reflux . she was put in hospital for blood clot in leg.that came from a fall in dec. she had been at rehab ever since, they sent her to er.they had to cut cast off her leg it was so tight.then we found out she had the blood clot.

Hi there ~

I understand your concerns. One way to avoid reflux while in the hospital is to raise the head end of the bed so that the passive reflux is avoided. I hope this helps with the condition. Also please talk to her treating team, it is always good to keep in touch with the treating physicians although they may be busy, they will always have time for answering your questions during rounds or elsewhere when they are not busy.
