I m 31, female, generally in good health, but I ve had this dull abdominal pain for three days now. It started in the lower back, right side and the next day I can also feel the dull pain in my front right side. I ve also been having very low grade fever which goes away with paracetamol (the dull pain is also relieved every time I take paracetamol). It hurts when I m standing and I raise my right leg. I already went to the doctor, had a urinalysis and CBC. Urinalysis was fine, CBC showed an infection somewhere (high WBC and neutrophils). It doesn t hurt when I lie down and the doc presses into my abdomen. Doc gave me antibiotics to treat respiratory infection (since I ve also been nursing a cough) and Hyoscine N-butylbromide for the pain. Sure the pain goes away when I take the meds but it comes back anyway and keeps me up at night cause I can feel a dull throbbing pain. Most probably going back to the doctor tomorrow, but I m wondering if anybody has any theories. Thanks.
