You say that you have been diagnosed to have IBS. I am sure the doctors have
eliminated a lot of conditions such as lactose intolerance
, celiac disease
infections and inflammatory bowel disease
by doing appropriate tests. IBS is not
associated with urinary problems usually , except in some women bladder spasm
may be associated. Frequent urination
and night time urination may indicate
early diabetes. The fact that you have elevated ALT indicates you may have
some underlying liver problem , although medications including the over the
counter pain medications can cause ALT elevation. Hope you have had tests
for Hepatitis_C & B. Again, right sided abdominal pain
and abnormal liver
test can be from gallbladder problem as well.
Hope you will discuss all these with your gastroenterologist.
Wish you good health.
