Having Klebsiella Infection In Urine Culture. Burning While Urination, Pubic Pain. MRI Showing Mild Cystitis

sir im having klebsiella infection in my urine culture im having burning urination and right supra pubic pain for that dr treated me with iv amikiacin twice daily for 5 days still om having right supra pubic pain but repeat urine culture shows no growth in culture but still im having rt supra pubic pain mri shows mild cystitis

Dear friend, welcome to HCM.
the pain is obviously due to UTI/ cystitis.
pl. see if the klebsiella was not ESBL class, which is usually resistant one. was it sensitive to amikacin?
what are your other reports saying?
could you pl. post them , so that i will get a better idea about your proble.
sometimes culture may not grow bugs , even if infection persists. did you have an ultrasound of kidney, ureter, bladdder/ MRI mentioned it?
in consultation of your treating doctor,pl. take urinary analgesics like phenazopyridine, urinary alkalinizers, consider prolongedor changed antibiotic regime according to culture.
a detailed description, age , other medical problems, reports etc , will help if posted online.
