Have Wrist Pain Due To Lifting Weights. No Swelling. Treatment?

I have some lingering wrist pain from lifting weights. I m not sure if it is a sprain or dislocation. There is no swelling and it only hurts in a single motion. I can bend my wrist up and down, but side to side is a little painful. I can actually pinpoint an exact spot on the thumb side of the wrist where the wrist bone is. How do I rehab this?

Hello,
Thanks for writing to us,

Pain can be due to overstreching of wrist ligament due to lifting of weights.
you may need splint and rest with some antiinflammatory.
osteonecrosis of carpal bone present with similar features ,so if pain persist you may need X ray or MRI.
.
I hope that I have answered your query. Let me know if I can help you further. Take care.
