Have Wrist Pain. Little Finger Was Twitching. Related?

Hi I have very bad wrist pain in my left wrist. The pain is very bad that I cannot bend my left wrist is particular directions or degree of angles as far as I can my right. This pain comes and goes every few months. Recentally there has been pain leading down into my forearm . Usually the pain is when I am moving the wrist but it also has aching throbbing pain at some points that seems to last for a very long time. My pinky and leading into the forearm was twitching today if that has any correlation.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

There are so many causes and reasons for wrist pain. An xray of the involved wrist is needed to detect any bony pathology in the wrist joint and an MRI scan is necessary to establish any soft tissue problems in the wrist causing you the symptoms.

A detailed clinical examination is mandatory to arrive at a possible diagnosis.

I suggest you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for further management.

Hope this information is helpful. Good day
