Have White Spot Back Of Throat, Sore, Hoarse Cough. Treated For Sinus Infection, Cough Remained. What Is It?

I do not have tonsils but my throat has been sore and now I have a small white spot in the back of my throat on the left side where my tonsil would be. I've had a very horsed cough for about a month now. I was treated for a sinus infection when I went to the Doctor then but this cough won't go away. What could this possibly be?

I have gone through your query regarding throat infection with hoarse and white spot on the back of throat , your tonsils are being removed earlier.

Since your voie is hoarse and pain in throat on swallowing indicates pharyngitis with laryngeal involvement. You should consult ENT specialist for examination and relevent investigations but till you appointment fixup you may take this-

(a) Antibiotic- Preferably broad spectrum.

(b) Anti inflammatory.

(c) Decongestant & mucolytic.

(d) Steam inhalation.

I hope you will get relief by this treatment and lateron treatment may be change according to your specialist's advice.
