Have tiredness and wake up sick. Period is late. Had unprotected sex. Pregnancy?

I had unprotected sex with my fiance last month and these last 2 weeks I have been extremely tired and wake up sick some days. I am about 5 days late but I took a test last week and it said negative, I don't know if it said that kuz it is too early to read. I am craving and eating everything and I also have major hot flashes and now sweaty palms.

OBGYN 's  Response
You should test for pregnancy now with a fresh early morning sample as the earlier test was too early. Your symptoms are suggestive of early pregnancy and if you never missed a period, that is more likely. You can also get a blood test and a trans-vaginal sonogram if you wish for better confirmation. Hope this information is useful. Wish you good luck.

OBGYN Dr. Rishma Lakhani's  Response
I would advice you to repeat the HPT, if negative go for a ultrasonography of pelvis to confirm whether you are pregnant or not.

The symptoms you describe are suggestive of pregnancy but still you cannot be sure.

Meet your doctor with the reports for further advice.

Take care.
