Have Swollen Tummy, Fold Over Scar, Had Total Hysterectomy. Healing?
I had an abdominal total hysterectomy four weeks ago. I feel well but I am worried about swollen tummy and the "fold" over the scar. I am 47 and weight 9st 8" and am not overweight. I have never had a flat tummy but will the unsightly fold of skin disappear when swelling goes and how long does this normally take to happen,

This might be due to lax abdominal muscles after hysterectomy.
Go for abdominal recti muscle exercise after some time consulting your Gynaec.
Avoid more fat and carbohydrate in diet.
