Have stitches on thigh. On antibiotic for slight infection. Noticed swelling. What to do?

I cut the side of my left foot Christmas Eve on a Pyrex dish.. I have 12 stitches 4 on the inside 8 on the outside.. I went to my doctor last Wednesday and was told I have a slight infection and was put on antibotic ( bactrim ) .. That was Wednesday the 1-2 .. I still have some slight swelling today a little draining but no fever .. The stitches are in 2 weeks tonight.. what will need to be done??

Hi If You Stopped Taking Antibiotic Need To Start, Along With This Take PainKiller Too, About Wound Keep It Disinfected Apply Betadine Or Neosporin Cream palce a Cotton And Wrapped It. Do open The Band For Some Time In A day. If After Doing So No Relief Do Consult Your Doctor. Be Safe. Bye.
