Hi,
Menopause is said to have occurred if one does not have a menstrual cycle for 6 months at least; it is possible for a period to occur after one year. Since you have not had a period for the past two years, you definitely need to go for investigations and a check up for this spotting, even though it correlates with your dates in the past. Please consult your gynecologist immediately for further advice. Good luck.
