Have Red Rash On Both Of My Armpits. Is It Just Ingrown Hair?
I have a red rash on both of my armpits. I went to my doctor when it was only a dime shape rash, she said it was most likely an ingrown hair . She recomended that I not shave and put hot conpresses on it. Well, i haven t shaves and I haven t put anything hot on them. While washing under my arms and applying deoderant in the morning, it stings.Any ideas what it could be?

Hello.It could be one of the infections of the sweat glands,called hidradenitis suppurativa.Get yourself re-checked,long term antibiotics may be required.
