Have Recurring Acne Problem. No Effect With Benzoyl Peroxide, Clindamycin, Metrogyl, Glycolic Peels. Advice?

hi doctor, i am sheetal here from Pune., India

I am having moderate acne for 7-8 years. it gets cured and comes back again. I have taken many on the counter medicines like benzoyl peroxide, clindamycin, metrogyl but not much of effect is seen . I have taken many sali/ glycolic peels from Kaya skin clinic also but they are also temporary. Please advise me

Hi acne is common problem in teenagers which is due to imbalance of hormones.it is recurrent condition even if use many medicines.fash the face daily with good astringent and applying daily acnemoiste cream can prevent recurrances.use epiduo cream for short contact therapy for fewonths or use of isotretinion 20 mg alternate day if there are no contraindications
