Have patches under nails. Looks odd. What is the cure?

Hi Doctors,

I have a black thick patch under the nails of both the fore fingers. They grow in thickness periodically and had to be peeled off and is painless. Sometimes I get itchy heat balls kind of stuff around them which contour the black patch. I do not have similar patch in any of the fingers and it looks odd when I point something to others.

in this condition skin overgrowth occur
you need to apply good moisturizer cream or lotion 3-4 times a day.
we have to rule out other condition like psoriasis also
it is better to consult dermatologist first
it may be due to heredity or drug induced.
