Have Patches Under Nails. Looks Odd. What Is The Cure?

Hi Doctors,

I have a black thick patch under the nails of both the fore fingers. They grow in thickness periodically and had to be peeled off and is painless. Sometimes I get itchy heat balls kind of stuff around them which contour the black patch. I do not have similar patch in any of the fingers and it looks odd when I point something to others.
