Have Paroxysmal Palpitations. Taking Ciplar. Will Arrhythmia Harm Baby?

I have had paroxysmal palpitations which has interfered with my day to to day life. ECGs and holter show a notched (m shaped) r wave, frequent ventricular ectopies, and once one instance of 2nd degree AV block. No structural problems other than MVP , slight MR and TR. Had been taking ciplar 10 on doc s advice and felt great reduction in symptoms including fatigue , light headedness and occasional syncope . have stopped Ciplar now due to pregnancy (6 weeks) after consulting cardiologist . But Now the symptoms have come back with a vengeance, I have not been advised any rest so far by both gyno and cardio, but just cannot manage work (asst professor of zoology) especially exam invigilation when i have to stand for long and run around giving answer sheets, continuous lectures etc. Will my arrhythmia harm my baby?....how long can i keep suffering the symptoms before going back to my cardiologist?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Exact diagnosis of the nature of arrhythmia is necessary to suggest whether any treatment is necessary..
It is probably benign and hence no specific intervention has been suggested…
Beta blockers can be given in pregnancy, if absolutely necessary and indicated..
You need regular follow up with your Cardiologist…

Take care
Wishing all well
God bless
Good luck
