Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Paraovarian cyst is a cyst adjacent to the uterus.
It do not interferes with the menstrual cycle and do not cause any menstrual problems.
Irregular and prolonged periods can be due to hormonal disturbances like hypothyroidism or due to dysfunctional uterine bleeding which are changes in the endometrium due to perimenopausal changes.
I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist and get an endometrial biopsy to confirm the diagnosis.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
