Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pain on the left side under the ribs radiating to the hip is likely to be due to a muscle spasm or an intra-abdominal cause. Needs to be investigated if the pain is persistent.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
