Have overlooked zygomatic fracture and compression of the infraorbital nerve. Help?

Hi I have overlooked zygomatic fracture and of cource compression of the infraorbital nerve V2. The trauma was 3 years ago!!!. My neurologist says, that after decompression nerve (compressed by bone) it should fully recover. But I think she is wrong. I have about about 80-90% of normal feeling so there is little compression. What do You think about it ?
