Have Mirena. Noticed Brown Discharge And Blood. Had Unprotected Sex. Pregnant?

I have a 16 month old and have had the mirena iud for about 13 months. I bled and had dark brown discharge at the end of March and a little into April, which was strange because I had not had a period since about a month after it was put in.Went to my obgyn and she saw the strings, did a vaginal ultrasound and it was still in place. I recently had unprotected sex with my boyfriend a week ago and now I'm having brown discharge and blood. Can it be possible that I'm pregnant, bc I have no clue of my ovulation cycle or anything.

Hello,

Copper T as a good success rate in prevention of unwanted pregnancy.
If you suspect pregnancy you can go ahead with urine pregnancy for confirmation.

But the most likely complication of Intrauterine device is infection.
So you need to look out for infection.
bleeding may be a part of complication.
Consult your doctor.
